The New York Yankees New Stadium Pictures (The House that George S. Built)

There's not much bad things you can say bad about the New York Yankees, unless your a Boston Red Sox's fan. I've been a die hard Yankee fan from my days of Little League baseball. This was in 1996, When Derek Jeter now Captain was a rookie. I was a Pitcher and Infielder, but had the ability to play every position even down to catcher. My father always instilled that a good Baseball player should be very good defensively so I made that one of my strong points. I was a good hitter too, Leading off one season on a Championship team. It was so crazy that we played stickball and whiffle ball, when we weren't at the park. The neighbors hated It, They didn't want there cars or lawns messed up. (LOL) My Team would wear the plastic Yankee helmets and take a pot and make the pan sound that you would hear at the game. I was fortunate to go to several games before the new stadium was erected. At least It has similar Characteristics. You always know your at Yankee Stadium when you see the Lattice work around its roof. I think we all can expect good things to come in the house that George Built for the New York Yankees. Check out some pictures below but go on there site a lot of nice pics on there.

FYI: If you like a nice cold one (BEER LAW)

If you Love a nice cold one Saturday night going into Sunday morning with the pals, you better have a few cases of that good Brew on hand or you may be left dry. Some Grocery stores and Gas Station convenience stores enforce the Sunday morning beer prohibition. Some places start at 3:00am some 4:00am. The shop keepers are subject to arrest and fine for selling you beer. So If your having a good time, or partying make sure you have your beverage by a certain time to avoid this. Drink Responsibly.

Great Eat in Brooklyn, Country Kitchen Soul Food Restaurant

HAPPY EASTER. If you want some great soul food in the Brooklyn, NY area try Country Kitchen located at 1991 Atlantic Avenue 11233 (718)498-0200. I've had food at this place many times but It's been a while. There's also a sitting area If your in that type of mood. I ordered the Beef Ribs, Macaroni & Cheese with Cadied Yams. It was delicious, sorry I didn't post the picture. I Promise I will next time. My sister had the baked chicken with the same sides as me. She said her meal was excellent. That's a Sunday dinner. They also serve breakfast If you can get there between 7:00am and 12:00pm. If your in the area and you want that North Carolina feeling Little Brother food go here you won't be disappointed except for the wait but it's worth it. Pictures coming the next time I go here.

Thrilla in Manila

I Love Boxing, but I don't like to see guy's get killed doing it. The final fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in the Philippines was something like that, It was a battle between two warriors. They fought to near death, both men were exhausted. That's how important this fight was to these men. Catch the fight on the net and see highlights and commentary from HBO documentary "Thrilla in Manila"

Law & Order, Criminal Intent, Special Victims Unit

I think Law & Order is one of the best Police shows ever. Law & Order, Criminal Intent, Special Victims Unit. I watched so many episodes. Sometimes It's a re-run but I watch it anyway. I always say what If the NYPD had smooth, assertive Detectives like this. The Department would be an unstoppable force. Any Perpetrators worst nightmare. The reality is the NYPD is not as big as people think. Tactical Policing is the strategy used to make It appear that there are more Officer's on Patrol than they really are. The force is only about 37,838 strong in charge of protecting the public welfare of about 8.25 million people. Law & Order is an excellent series though, some episodes are better than others. Look out for the Premiere of the new Criminal Intent episodes on the USA network April 19th, 2009 starring Jeff Goldblum.

The Surge of Reality TV Shows

It seems like the demand for Reality TV shows are up. I can't say that I like everything I see, but some of It does entertain me. It seems like every network are picking up on the fad. Some are about models, wanna be models, celebrities looking for love, people trying to be better people, bad girls, bad guys, actors, wanna be actors. I pardon the shows that are actually real like Surgeries, Cop Shows, anything that involves daily real life. I think most of these people are looking for exposure for the most part. It has always been known that Hollywood is always looking for new faces and characters to cast in upcoming films and shows. I'm amazed at the lengths people will go to get out there. I think dignity is lost a lot of times. People are put through so much and there embarrassed in the process. The challenges are very extreme sometimes. There always seems to be a Protagonist and Antagonist on the set too. These are always the last set of people to be eliminated, to keep things interesting. I think we can expect to see these type of shows continuing to grow until people are tired of it.

Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers

Anyone that knows me can tell you that I'm true Brooklynite to the core. I go on an Expedition throughout all parts of the borough. So I had to take it back in time with this great throwback video hope you enjoy. "Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers" Chubb Rock, O.C., Jeru the Damaja, DJ Premier laced the beat. This is just a great song. My personal opinion is this is the type of song that proved to be a part of the Sonic Blueprint of the 90's. Without these type of tracks the Golden Age would have never existed.
