Plaxico in trouble with Big Blue

It's sad to see another young talented black Athlete in legal trouble again. I didn't post right away because I was listening to legal and public points that were made. Yeah Plaxico Burress broke the law, But for the most part I don't believe he is a criminal and he had intentions on hurting anyone. Thank God he only hurt himself, Otherwise he would be in more trouble than he is already in. I think he had the Glock .40 for protection. But that's what personal bodyguards and the NYPD are for, although they can't be everywhere at a given time. There's times and places in New York City when a flagrant character maybe walking in your direction. Not a soul around to help you, these are the times you may pray and hope God answers your prayers. So I can see Plaxico's position on walking around with a sidearm although he should of took measures to properly secure it. There's others at fault in this situation including the club. Most Clubs don't even want to let off-duty Police Officers in with there firearm. These are the people that go out everyday put there lives on the line to serve and protect. At the end of the day there are so many people that walk around with illegally concealed firearms, with the intentions to commit felonious acts. These people are commonly referred to by Law Enforcement as Perpetrators aka Perps. Greater efforts need to be made to Prosecute people like that and maybe citizens and Athletes might feel a little bit safer and not walk around with weapons.
