New Era Travis Barker fitted Hat

Travis Barker and New Era released a cool fitted that's part of the company's Capture the Flag series. The Flag line is a collection of artist-inspired and designed headwear. Barker's hat is based on his drum pads and comes in a leather and wooden latched box. When It's opened the cap is sitting on cushion red silk material, with a small mirror on the inside top. There's also a card signed by him. The Drummer's hat is limited to 300 worldwide, so it will be pretty hard to get one and there $125. There available at New Era's five flagship stores, London, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, and Buffalo and several boutique shops all over the world. I know producers that have Akai drum machine's are going to be checking for this hat.

The Foreign Exchange Leave it All behind "Daykeeper"

As some already know that read my previous post about Little Brother. One of my favorite rap groups of all time. I think because there apart of my generation. I was put on to them by my predecessor Urban Music director while at St. John's, and fell in Love with the sound. Although I can't live without a lot of the early 90's rap tracks and albums. Once again they teamed up with the talented producer Nicolay from the Netherlands to create an album full of sonic heat. Phonte Coleman is a great vocalists on the low and back at it. I had to add this track for those that don't already know about it. I'm really anticipating the album due out on October 10, 2008. I will get myself a copy. Real nice mellow, soulful vibe. Something you can play and not even touch the dial on whatever player your using. Just listen to the single, and hear it for yourself. Daykeeper featuring Muhsinah. Like the album title says "Leave it all behind"

Who are you voting for?

This will be one of the biggest presidential decisions that America will ever have to make. With the Country in serious economic turmoil, gas prices at an all-time high. Prices of everything going up, and people's salaries staying the same. City budgets on the verge of being chopped by billions, based on the tax revenue being lost from the big boys on Wall Street. The financial sector looking for the Feds $700 billion bailout, stemming from the default lending crisis. More people are about to be unemployed. Whoever the next president is will have an arduous job ahead of them. Who will you vote for Tuesday November 4, 2008? I will definitely be at a ballot that day somewhere in Brooklyn. If your not registered to vote go here.
