Maserati Gran Turismo S Thrills, not Great Adventure (video)
This post is dedicated to all the Car connoisseurs out there. I love sport coupes like the Maserati Gran Turismo S, another favorite of mine is the Aston Martin DB9. I've been looking at that car for some years now. I can see myself in either one of these. Got to get that $$$,$$$ up.

Black Moon "Buck'em Down" (video) Original Heads
Buckshot of Black Moon is one of my favorite MC's of all time. He is the definition of Original Heads. Buck is a cool dude I met him and other BCC members in the studio one day. Also big shout to Steele of Smif-n-Wessun aka Cocoa Brovaz, The Ha brothers and Shucky Duck. This is one of my favorite videos and may just become yours. This is a true Bucktown summertime classic. The Neptunes Pharrell beat manufacturing process and the finished product.
This video has been on the net for a couple of years now. Whenever I watch it feels like the first time. Pharrell is crafting this track from scratch with one of his Star trak artist Natasha Ramos, He was going in, Chad followed up with the Guitar from out of no where. She laced the track with her vocals later on, check it out though its nice.

88 Keys in the building
88 Keys is a dope producer, I feel he's very underrated, he produced a track called "Stay Up" for Kanye West on the Can't tell me nothing mixtape. Check that song out even though its a snippet. Read this interview from Dork magazine about his story.

Complex Cassie Cover shoot (video)
Big shout out to my good friend Richard "Treats" Dryden Staff writer at Complex. He conducted this interview with Cassie. You can also catch him on the 1 and 2's when he spins in a New York City club or lounge. He got me into DJing when we lived on the same block years ago. He got some skills and that's way before Rane Serato when it was just Technics and milk crates full of vinyl. Check him out.

The man behind "Flashing Lights" Eric Hudson
New Jersey bred Eric Hudson production skills earned him a spot on Kanye West's Graduation LP. I personally think its one of the best songs on the album. He's only 21, and has some decent production credits under his belt, including John Legend ("P.D.A"), Neyo ("Can We Chill"), Omarion ("Entourage"), Beanie Sigel ("Go Low"), He is also a musician that played the keys, bass and strings on The Game, 50 Cent, and Nas albums. This is definitely some talent to check for on future hits. Check the credits here

I took the excerpt from another website on how the meeting came about. Courtesy of HHNLive.com
"I was in one studio and he was in another one [close by], and we had an initial respect for each and a good relationship from some of the other joints that I had produced. I heard he was in the other studio so I just went by to say what’s up. You hear Kanye’s in the studio and you’re going to go say something! So we was in the room and he was like, “yo, you got a joint? My album’s closed, but if you can give me that one banger I’ll put it on there if it’s crazy.” So I start wonder, do I got CDs on me? And by the grace of God I had that beat man. He came into the other room and I played it for him. He listened to the beat for about ten seconds man…the beat didn’t even drop totally. He took it, put it in Pro Tools and did the song right then and there...He wrote it right there. He freestyled it and then next I’m hearing he went and put the “flashin’…lights, lights,” he put that on there..."
Eric Hudson on who the "Flashing Lights" beat was originally intended for:
"Yo, I had originally did that beat for Beanie Sigel. To me it could have been an R&B joint or a rap joint, but I had intended for it to be a rap joint."

Heaven underground at The Thing in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
This might be considered a gold mine to any record collecting junkie out there. I definitely will be hitting The Thing up in the next couple of weeks. In addition to some other spots in the tri-state. I'm kind of lost for words (D.I.T.C). The video has enough details for any avid collector to know that there is gems in that tomb and excavation must be done. I'll let everyone know how the experience was. Check out the video and enjoy.
